Taren Point Public School
Taren Point Public School is situated 20km south of the Sydney CBD, in the Sutherland Shire. Founded in 1925, the school will soon be celebrating 100 years and currently has an enrolment of approximately 87 students. Taren Point contains a mix of residential, commercial and some industrial areas located along the bank of the Georges River, at the mouth of Botany Bay and to the east towards Woolooware Bay. The town currently has a population of approximately 1,734 people.
